My beloved readers,
I am happy and thrilled to inform you that my book, the Mamma Mia! Diet (MMD) will be presented on Feb. 27, 2018 in New York (USA) by Hatherleigh Press.
Please help support this important new book with your pre-order on Amazon. Here’s the link:
I would like to express my special thanks to you (without whom I would not be here writing about this!), my colleague and friend Paola Palestini for her collaboration, and of course my publisher Andrew Flach for trusting me.
This is not a diet book in the traditional sense. It should be considered a useful manual about the Mediterranean diet, a how-to for the Italian style of healthy eating and living, to provide you with all sorts of physical and mental benefits. A book you can easily take along with you, wherever you go, or use in your own kitchen to prepare nutritious and tasty dishes for yourself and your family (more than 60 recipes are included). The MMD is an easy-to-follow dietary plan suitable for any age, from childhood though old age.
We created this book, relying not only on years of personal experience in the field of nutrition, chemistry and healthy cooking, but also our passion to encourage people to learn how to enjoy the best of Italian life: make positive lifestyle choices, feel better and live longer, establish a positive relationship with wholesome food, lose some extra pounds and maintain normal weight. Let good food be your medicine and learn to recognize and love it, it will love you back!
This book should be your guide to a new lifestyle – the Italian way – for a healthy and happy life. Nutrition is a condition of balance: all the nutrients (both macro and micro) in the food must be introduced in the right amount so that they can act in synergy to have a healthy effect on our body/health. You must not demonize some nutrients; all of them, in the right amount, play an important role in our body. Indeed, the biochemistry statement “Fats burn in the flame of carbohydrates” means that if you do not introduce fats, you cannot burn the sugars!
This is just a short video of the interview on The Mamma Mia! Diet book by the Russian TV – NTV on March 26, 2018 on Lake Como. It was an amazing day!
